Position Overview: We are seeking an accomplished and strategic QA Director to lead the Quality Assurance function for Majescos P&C Insurance product, a flagship solution serving the US insurance market. This leadership role, based in India, will be responsible for overseeing all QA activities related to product enhancement and sustenance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software across distributed teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical acumen, domain knowledge, and leadership capabilities, with a proven track record in managing QA operations for complex insurance platforms. Key Responsibilities: Quality Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies tailored to Majescos P&C Insurance product. - Lead functional, non-functional, regression, and integration testing efforts. - Drive automation initiatives using industry-standard tools and frameworks. - Ensure adherence to US regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST-800). Leadership & Team Development - Manage and mentor a team of 2025 QA professionals across India. - Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Conduct performance evaluations, skill development programs, and succession planning. Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate closely with leadership teams, business sponsors, product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders. - Communicate QA metrics and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ensure alignment between QA deliverables and business objectives. Process Optimization - Champion Agile and Scrum methodologies within QA processes. - Integrate QA practices into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery. - Evaluate and implement emerging QA tools and technologies to enhance efficiency. Cross-Regional Collaboration - Manage time zone differences and facilitate seamless communication between India and US teams. - Promote cultural awareness and inclusivity across geographically distributed teams. - Utilize collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, AHA, Confluence) to maintain productivity and cohesion. Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 20 years of experience in QA, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. - Extensive experience in US P&C Insurance domain and familiarity with Majescos product suite. - Strong expertise in test automation, performance testing, and security testing. - Proficiency with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, LoadRunner, Postman, and CI/CD platforms. - Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. - Proven ability to lead distributed teams and deliver results in a global delivery model. Preferred Credentials: - Professional certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Agile QA frameworks. - Prior experience working with US-based clients and global QA operations.
