Candidates with Fintech experience will be reached out. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will work closely with the chief executive officer (CEO) and will be leading functions such as Financial planning and analysis, Internal controls, Regulatory Relations and Strategic Planning. This role plays a critical part in shaping the company's financial future ensuring financial stability, and driving growth of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): - Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support informed decision- making. - Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. Internal Controls: - Establish and maintain robust internal control systems and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations. - Regularly review and improve internal processes and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks Regulatory Relations: - Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with all financial and reporting regulations and requirements. - Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and proactively adapt company practices to remain compliant. Strategic Planning: - Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the company's overall objectives and growth initiatives. - Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial insights and recommendations for optimizing the organization's performance. Financial Reporting: - Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Treasury and Capital Management: - Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize liquidity and cost of capital. - Make strategic decisions regarding investments, working capital, and cash flow management. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - Proven experience (typically 12+ years) in finance and accounting roles, with a significant portion in leadership positions in Fintech Companies. - Fintech industry experience and understanding of its unique financial dynamics. - Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance and risk management. - Strategic thinking and problem- solving skills, with the ability to drive financial growth and operational efficiency. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. - Strong leadership and people management skills. - Should be a natural business partner, and be willing to go that extra mile to work beyond the set KPIs.

Chief Financial Officer - FinTech 

Description: The GM Taxation will be responsible for all aspects of taxation for various entities and individuals in The Family Office, covering compliance, planning and strategy. This role requires a critical thinker and tax planner with deep experience in Indian and US Taxation. The candidate should have deep knowledge of direct and indirect tax framework in India and US federal and state tax laws. - Develop and implement tax strategies for all individuals and entities within the Family Office. - Ensure on-time and accurate filings and compliance in all jurisdictions and individuals/entities. - Maintain an optimized ETR for all taxable entities. - Monitor changes in tax legislations, assess impact and pre-emptively implement risk mitigation strategies. - Plan and recommend on tax implications on business decisions, new investments and structuring changes. - Co ordinate and work with external advisors for compliance and advise on transactions. - Excellent Critical and Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution skills - Strong analytical skills. - Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems. - Excellent decision-making skills.
