1065 US Tax Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced US Tax Manager with a focus on Form 1065 (Partnership Tax Returns) to join our growing tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of partnership tax returns, advising clients on partnership tax matters, and providing leadership to a team of tax professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of US partnership taxation, compliance requirements, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Form 1065 Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of Form 1065 (U.S. Return of Partnership Income) and related schedules for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. - Client Advisory: Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on partnership tax matters, including tax structuring, income allocation, and partnership agreements. - Tax Research & Planning: Conduct in-depth research on complex partnership tax issues, including changes in tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance. Assist in developing tax-efficient strategies for clients. - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop junior tax staff in the preparation and review of tax returns. Provide training and guidance on best practices. - Tax Provisions: Assist with the preparation and review of partnership tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations and financial reporting. - Review & Audit: Review tax returns, workpapers, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Liaise with external auditors during audits or reviews. - Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure timely filing of tax returns. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, legal, and finance, to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance. Qualifications: - Masters or Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A masters degree in taxation or CPA is highly preferred. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax compliance, with a focus on Form 1065 or partnership taxation. Experience with complex partnerships, LLCs, and multi-state tax filings is a plus. Skills & Knowledge: - Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws, particularly related to partnerships and pass-through entities. - Expertise in IRS regulations and requirements regarding partnership taxation. - Experience with tax compliance software (e.g., Thomson Reuters UltraTax, GoSystem Tax). - Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned 1040 HNI Tax Manager with deep expertise in U.S. individual taxation to manage complex tax filings for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). This role requires strong technical knowledge, team management skills, and a client-service mindset to deliver high-quality tax solutions and advisory services. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and review complex U.S. individual tax returns (Form 1040) for high-net-worth individuals, including multi-state and international components. - Handle intricate tax issues related to investments, K-1s, foreign income, real estate, hedge funds, private equity, and trusts. - Provide tax planning and consulting support to clients, focusing on proactive strategies to optimize tax positions. - Supervise, mentor, and review work of junior staff and senior associates, ensuring compliance with internal standards and deadlines. - Coordinate with U.S. counterparts and client relationship teams for efficient workflow and communication. - Stay updated on latest IRS regulations and tax law changes impacting individual taxation. - Use tax software platforms like CCH Axcess, GoSystem, Sureprep or similar for preparation and review. - Support quality control initiatives and assist in process improvements. Key Requirements: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in U.S. individual taxation (Form 1040), preferably handling HNI clients. - Strong understanding of income tax concepts related to investments, foreign disclosures (FBAR, FATCA), K-1s, 6251, 1116, 8938, etc. - Prior experience managing teams and reviewing tax returns is mandatory. - Proficiency in U.S. tax software such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem, Sureprep or similar. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - CPA/EA certification is an added advantage. Preferred Qualities: - Strong analytical and organizational skills. - Proactive approach to identifying issues and offering solutions. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Client-focused mindset with attention to detail.
