Role Purpose: To manage and grow key client relationships across corporate food court operations by ensuring seamless service delivery, operational excellence, and strong financial performance in alignment with contractual commitments. The Key Account Manager will serve as a strategic partner to clients, driving satisfaction, innovation, and profitable growth while upholding the company's standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Dimensions: - People: Direct management of Site Managers, Supervisors, and support staff across assigned client sites. - Financial: Full accountability for account-level P&L, revenue growth, cost management, and contract profitability. - Client: Single point of contact for senior client stakeholders; ensure long-term partnership and retention. - Operations: Oversee day-to-day food court operations, menu innovation, compliance with FSSAI standards, and delivery of agreed KPIs. Main Accountabilities: Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior client stakeholders by understanding business needs and aligning company solutions. - Conduct regular business reviews to measure satisfaction, identify gaps, and introduce value-added services. - Ensure proactive communication, reporting, and timely resolution of escalations. Operational Excellence: - Manage corporate food court operations as per contractual obligations and company standards. - Monitor service quality, food safety, hygiene, and HSE compliance via regular audits and site reviews. - Introduce innovations such as healthy counters, pop-ups, festive menus, and delivery models to enhance client and consumer experience. Financial & Commercial Management: - Deliver profitability through P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Lead discussions on rate revisions, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations with client stakeholders. - Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising service standards. People Management: - Lead, coach, and motivate on-site teams to achieve operational KPIs and service benchmarks. - Ensure adequate staffing, training, and development of site-based personnel. - Build a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement. Business Growth & Retention: - Identify opportunities for organic growth by expanding scope of services and introducing new solutions. - Partner with Business Development teams to leverage client relationships for new opportunities. - Achieve renewal and retention targets through superior service delivery and proactive client engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and convert new business opportunities in line with the overall sales strategy. - Build and maintain strong relationships with mid and senior-level prospects to influence key decision-makers. - Support in major rebids, tenders, and organic growth initiatives within existing contracts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized catering and F&B solutions tailored to client needs. - Develop and implement account strategies, perform competitor analysis, and ensure profitability of contracts. - Drive Pan-India market share growth and expand the companys presence in the institutional catering segment. - Prepare business performance reports and provide strategic insights to senior leadership. Required Skills: - Proven expertise in institutional catering/food services sales and business development. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Strong project management, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities. - Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred. - Ability to influence decision-makers and drive long-term partnerships. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing business needs. Education: - Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or - Graduate/Masters degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field. Experience: - 1015 years of progressive experience in Sales & Business Development within the catering, institutional food services, or F&B industry. - Demonstrated success in managing large accounts, rebids, tenders, and Pan-India operations. Attributes: - Willingness to travel Pan-India as required. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - High level of integrity, customer focus, and performance orientation.
