ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
Institute of Management Education & Consultancy (IMEC- Institute of Management). IMEC is established in 2016 and its standards have been approved by All India Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E), Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), Govt. of India, to conduct Post Graduate Program in Management leading to PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management). Location: IMEC is strategically located near SIDCUL (hub for over 200 mid-sized industries), Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) and is 2.5 kms inside of the Kashipur Hwy.
IMEC, the first PGDM College in entire Kumaon region of the Uttarakhand, is promoted by Former-Professor of Delhi University
Mission & Vision: IMEC aims at not only grooming entry level managers for the industry but also making them self-sustained and ready for further growth. IMEC works on the philosophy “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for lifetime”.
IMEC’s Board of Governors consist of eminent & well experienced academicians and assist in formulating the basic policies & strategies to be used for accomplishing the objective of the trust. Some of the members are:

2. Prof. Y.P. Singh, Former-Head of Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University
3. Prof. C.S Pant, Former- Professor of Economics at Delhi University
4. Mr. U.S. Pant, Former-IAS Officer & IMF Advisor
Our members of the faculty has rich experience in academia/industry/research. Some of the members are:
a. B.S. Moshal (Director, PGDM program ): PhD from Delhi University with over 45 years of teaching experience and specializes in HRM, Organization theory and behavior, Industrial Law
b. Namita Singh (Head-Academics): M.Com (Business Administration) and Certifications from IIM-Bangalore on Marketing Essentials, Accounting with over 12 years of corporate experience.
c. Anil Chaubey (Principal Consultant & Associate Prof.): MBA from Xavier Institute of Management & Research and Specialized training in HRD from Academy of Human Resources Development (AHRD), Ahmadabad with a vast corporate experience of over 17 years in leadership positions
d. Vivek Kumar (Asst. Prof.): B.Tech (IT), Delhi and MBA-Operations Management from Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik, Maharashtra. Six Sigma Green belt certified, JAIIB (IIBF) with over 5 years of Banking experience in leading position
e. Sanjay Manwani(Asst. Prof.): MBA (Finance) from IBMT, Bangalore and PGDBM (Marketing/Operations), IBMT with over 3 years of corporate experience
Our Infrastructure comprises of a green campus with stress-free & learning-prone environment, wi-fi enabled, IT-lab, Language lab, well equipped Library with access to E-Resources/Databases, smart lecture rooms and recreational facilities
ABOUT PGDM PROGRAM
- PGDM is a 2-year fully-time residential program
- PGDM is an industry-driven and highly professional program
- PGDM curriculum is flexible and highly updated as per the current requirements of the industries
PGDM Curriculum & Teaching pedagogy of IMEC consists of:
a. Academic input of Business Management (35-40 papers on Management & related functional areas)
b. Application part of the curriculum:
- Teaching at IMEC is based on Case Study method, Industrial visits, Expert visits from industries and Workshops & Seminars on the topics related to the burning issues on current business scenario. Visits to community places like orphanage, old age homes, schools etc. is also integral part of curriculum to create social awareness in our students.
c. Internships & Training: Curriculum includes at least 03 months of internship and 01 of in-house training is conducted by IMEC’s Training and Placement Cell on Corporate culture, etiquettes and environment. Additionally, IMEC focuses on personal development plan.
d. We provide value added certifications in Marketing Analytics/Digital Marketing/Advance Excel for Business & many more to make our students industry-ready.
