One of our clients is looking for a zonal head for their Sales and Marketing domain.
Role Objective :-
As Zonal Head of a region the incumbent:
- Formulate a business plan and roll out sales strategies to improve its market share and enhance revenues
- Analyzing Competitor strategies and formulating sales plan.
- Takes overall responsibility for streamlining, optimal utilization of resources, and achieving sales and profit targets
- Reduce S&D Costs
- Ensures adherence to sales policies and implements the policies provided by Corporate Marketing team.
- Drive for excellent customer service
- Developing sales force with contemporary selling and marketing skills
- Coaching and mentoring the team
Strategic Responsibilities:-
- Coordinating, following up, and reviewing the implementation of the sales and marketing plan.
- Be responsible for carrying out the plan, in order to achieve the agreed objectives in the short term and to ensure that the business strategy is achieved in the medium term.
- Managing, controlling, and evaluating the staff, in order to give the necessary support and to guide the employee towards optimum performance
- Expanding the SF customer base in the region, to contribute to the revenue target. Identifying and actively searching for new prospects, analyzing sales potential, and work out sales activities.
- Achieve optimum marketing mix with the least amount of overheads costs to meet sales plan and the profit targets
- Direct and Monitor branches to accomplish goals of the Organisation
- Gaining expertise of the functioning and advantages of the products in order to have the ability to integrate this product knowledge in the sales process.
- Position the sales team as Product Knowledge equipped personnel in the market
- Analyze the trends of Competitors and take pro-active action to ensure market growth.
- Market intelligence for Sales growth

SCM: for ensuring supplies as per requirement
Marketing: for product marketing
Finance: for S&D costs
R&D: For market feedback on products for performance and cost reduction
Education
Engineering Graduate & MBA
Age / Experience;-
Age: 40 plus years
Min. 15 years in sales & marketing function and at least 3 years in a position of similar responsibility.
