Zeno Health - Director - Product Design

The role :

Head Product Design is a functional leadership role at Zeno. This is a pivotal role in the journey of democratizing healthcare - A journey of discovering the unimaginable to drive sustainable health outcomes, bringing extreme user centricity, creating a tech first approach and playing this infinite game with high quality of execution. The leader will own the user experience of various product users and lead a team of Product Design designers across multiple product teams in 2 business channels at Zeno - Retail & Social commerce, to powerfully cause outcomes owned by the product teams dedicated to both the channels by collaborating with the product director and product managers,Product Design designers within the channels, creating the design principles which can be leveraged by multiple product teams, coaching the team and driving research & innovation

Responsibilities :

- Build, coach and manage a team of Product Design designers to ensure high quality work across multiple product teams

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and functional stakeholders, to get deep understanding of product vision & roadmap to create Product Design team roadmap

- Lead user research and gather insights to enable design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach throughout the design process.

- Create, iterate and maintain design systems, style guides, and Product Design/UI standards to ensure consistency and coherence across products.

- Drive the Product Design design process from concept development to final implementation, including information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Product Design design, and coach the team.

- Collaborate and drive alignment with stakeholders on design concepts, rationale, and user insights effectively.

Who is a good fit :

- Experience - 5+ years of experience including in a product company

- Demonstrated experience as a successful Product Design designer

- Demonstrated experience in building & managing team of Product Design designers & researchers across multiple products

- Demonstrated experience of setting up design principles, libraries and iterating based on product evolution

- Deep expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing

- High user empathy & curiosity

- Strong in leveraging data to make decisions

- Strong cross functional collaboration & communication skills

- Strategic thinking - Deep understanding of creating Product Design roadmap aligned to product vision

- Very high learnability
