The role encompasses the following:

- Risk Data Reporting to enable Credit Risk RWA computation for the bank

- Understanding of Product level financial information

- Understanding the implications of key regulatory changes

- Strong understanding of the system architecture

- Support for Regulatory reviews and Audits

- Engagement in Redesign of systems and processes

- Country packs for operational reviews

- Managing Stakeholders expectations

- Working closely with Sourcing and Group Reporting teams.

The candidate must be a highly-motivated and high performing individual. He/She must be able to handle all levels of complexity in their product coverage or area under control, be able to multi task with relative ease and be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced month end priority-driven environment. He/She is also expected to have a good understanding and working knowledge on the Risk Platforms and StRIDe system architecture.

12+ years working experience (preferably in Finance teams of banks, securities firms, investment banks or professional accounting / audit firms or in a similar capacity in a BPO / KPO center). Prefer knowledge of trading products, their valuations and control processes. Prior experience in a controllership role would be highly valuable.

Qualification

- Qualified Accountant- CA/CPA/ACCA or, MBA

Roles & Responsibility

- Ensuring CRES- Product level data submissions for Americas, Germany and EMEA to enable Group credit risk RWA computation.

- Ensuring Integrity and completeness of monthly CRES vs. Financial Reconciliations.

- Review and analysing the TWA top movers for Americas

- Ensuring sufficient QA and data integrity checks in the process

- Managing the day-to-day relationship with all key stakeholders across all locations to ensure strong working partnership and build up a collaborative model

- Providing updates to Senior Management on the production process and highlight key risks in a timely manner

- Monitor the overall governance aspects of the processes and have a complete and thorough understanding of the Process control environment.

- Working closely with GT and StRIDe project team to support all planned releases.

- To ensure adequate capacity planning to support the UAT- Functional and Regression testing

- Actively participate in all StRIDe implementation working groups

- Timely escalation of issues at appropriate forums and identify and work on remediation plans

- Supporting Regulatory and Group Audits

- Having post production review calls with all key stakeholders and have an agreed action plan to remediate issues.

- Explore additional migration opportunities leveraging Pull analysis and with an end to end process alignment view.

- Driving the Process thinking in the team to continuously identify process improvement initiatives

- Participate and support all regulatory changes and implementation

- To ensure and have a robust back up planning in the team.

- Knowledge management through regular updates of SOPs and ensuring teams are provided with adequate training on process and business knowledge

- Performance management and Succession planning for the team.
