Manager/Sr Manager - Debt Partnerships

We are looking for superlative hustlers, stellar problem solvers and remarkable team players. Everything else is a plus plus. We are looking for folks who make building and driving NBFC partnerships the centre of their universe, who push themselves and team members around them to solve problems in the best manner possible.

Responsibilities :

- Leading and managing debt partnerships: by building and leveraging networks with NBFCs, banks, other financial institutions, and rating agencies.

- Maintain MIS, Prepare CMA and key performance metrics across partners

- Research debt partners, identify key players, understand their products and create a compelling case for Velocity partnership.

- Develop a solid knowledge of lending products and their structuring for NBFC/Bank partnerships

- Track performance against set targets and provide periodical updates to business

- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to debt partner outreach and relationship management

- Forecast, measure, and report the results of various debt partnerships

Qualifications :

- CA preferred with 3-5 years of previous work experience in Fund Raising/Debt Partnerships/Treasury domain

- Understands capital requirements, reporting etc. from an NBFC perspective

- Understanding of product, credit risk, credit and collections policies

- Strategic thinker with a networking aptitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Process:

Process: 3 interviews + 1 assignment

This gives you an opportunity to get to know the core team better and evaluate whether you'd like to spend a large proportion of your day with these individuals.

Total duration: We'll try and fit in our entire process into a two week window, not including the time you might need for any assignments

Interview content: The discussions test functional expertise, potential team dynamic, ownership levels, problem solving and creative thinking. Sometimes we ask open ended hypothetical questions, other times we just talk about your approach to solving problems. Irrespective, all discussions have a defined framework for success. By doing so we try to rule out the impact of personal biases on hiring decisions.
