Email Marketer

We are looking for superlative hustlers, stellar problem solvers and remarkable team players. Everything else is a plus plus. We are looking for folks who make email marketing the center of their universe, who push themselves and team members around them to solve problems in the best manner possible.

Responsibilities:

- Perform day-to-day execution of email campaign development, QA and deployment processes.

- Build testing workflows and modify workflows and deliveries as needed.

- End to end testing to ensure emails are rendering correctly across major email clients, all landing pages and UTMs are accurate.

- Meet with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and build email templates to be used in various campaigns.

- Produce testing proofs of daily emails for approval by all business partners.

- Understand data and build dynamic content within email workflows and deliveries.

- Report on email campaign results, provide suggestions and implement improvements

- Document all email policies and processes.

- Manage daily reporting of email metrics to the management.

- Create an experimental framework to systematically test various elements of an email that works for the target audience.

- Assist in the execution of other demand generation activities like whatsapp marketing (training will be provided).

- Manage all aspects of email marketing including inbox warming, list cleaning, CRM updation, and domain management.

- Create compelling content and CTAs that convert prospects and move them along the pipeline.

- Take ownership of the creation as well as the execution of the monthly newsletter.

Qualifications:

- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in managing email campaigns

- Historical experience with no code tools like Zapier and CRM software like PipeDrive

- Ability to work independently and a problem-solving attitude to achieve results

- Understanding of all the best practices in email marketing such as domain management, list cleaning, inbox warming, etc.

Process:

Process: {2interviews + 1 assignment}

- This gives you an opportunity to get to know the core team better and evaluate whether you'd like to spend a large proportion of your day with these individuals.

- Total duration: We'll try and fit in our entire process into a two week window, not including the time you might need for any assignments

- Interview content: The discussions test functional expertise, potential team dynamic, ownership levels, problem solving and creative thinking. Sometimes we ask open ended hypothetical questions, other times we just talk about your approach to solving problems. Irrespective, all discussions have a defined framework for success. By doing so we try to rule out the impact of personal biases on hiring decisions.
