Velocity - Assistant Manager - Finance & Compliance

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to drive our accounting and compliance process. As the Assistant Finance manager, you will get opportunity to share and learn the best practices, setting up SOPs and drive the organisation's discipline for financial governance.

Key Responsibilities :

Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate Ind AS and other regulatory requirements.

Computation of TDS, GST, EPF, PT etc. and filing returns with regulatory authorities

Executing AP & AR, including follow-ups where required

Passing Accounting entry for Expenses along with proper TDS deduction and GST compliance. Ensuring proper review of Invoices and obtain management approval on invoices. Making payment of invoices on time, Updating Management on Pending payments. Proactively managing the accounting, Preparation of MIS reports, performing various reconciliations.

Setting up SOPs & Processes to bring financial discipline and governance

Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets and actual expenditures (variance analysis).

Coordinating all accounting & audit activity

Ensure statutory compliance/payments requirements of the organization are met including income tax, TDS, GST etc. - Preparing Cash flow statement, monthly P&L and Balance sheet

Requirements - Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge :

Sound understanding of accounting & taxation

Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment

High attention to detail and accuracy

Passionate to learn and solve complex problems

CA /MBA with 3+ years' experience in Accounting & Compliances
