SVP - Data Analytics & Compliance - BFSI

- This role will be supporting Data Solutions/Testing/Internal Audit/Regulatory team

The team focuses on providing forensic data mining and system and data assurance capabilities

The team delivers analytics, data visualizations, automated test scripts and continuous monitoring functions

- Looking for a candidate with Strong Leadership Presence. Should be able to manage stakeholders at a Regional level (i.e. resource/status/report/metrics updates).

Effectively manage program delivery risks, such as resource management, quality control/assurance, knowledge management, and data access

Define, create, report and maintain the metrics that define the success of the program

Coordinate with business, compliance officers and technology from the identification of the testing target through delivery of the analytic

Experience documenting for litigation, audit, or regulatory exams is a plus

Proven ability to quickly assimilate and organize large amounts of new information and produce professional products (using Microsoft Outlook tools)

Proven ability to identify possible exceptions based on key risk indicators

Proven ability to understand and document results, including the use of trend analysis

Proven ability to identify requirements from regulatory and senior management sources

Excellent communication skills, both written (PowerPoint, Visio, Word etc.) and verbal

- Candidate should have strategic and analytical bent of mind

Translate the testing requirements into models/analytics using various data analytic and visualization tools

Translate the results from the analytics into impact on regulatory risks for senior management

Capable of communicating complex technical or financial concepts to stakeholders

Design and implement data analytics as part of an effective Compliance Testing program

Define the analytic targets that align with the SDS program objectives

- 10 + year of experience with post qualification degree is a must

10+ years of database or data analysis skills in the Financial Services or related industry

7+ years of compliance, assurance/audit, or controls experience

Bachelor's Degree required in any of the following: Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, and Engineering (open to system, computer, industrial, electrical etc.), Accounting, Finance, and Economics

Master's degree preferred in any of the following: Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, IS, Mathematics and Statistics

- Data analysis aptitude required not mandatory to be able to execute

Articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience while influencing skills with peers

Excellent data analytic skills using SQL, T-SQL, or PL/SQL (SQL Server or Oracle)

Excellent rapid data discovery and prototyping skills

Experience with data visualization such as Qlikview, Spotfire, Tableau, or MicroStrategy

Experience creating and maintaining dashboards to periodically report on key risk, performance and compliance indicators

Experience with VBA/Java/Python/R/SAS/perl is preferred, but not required
