Shangrila Corporate Services - Senior Legal Associate - LLB/LLM (2-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research, analysis, and interpretation of legal information relevant to the cases

2. Understanding the commercial & legal implications of contract clauses, risk and obligation assessment of contracts, and identification of risk mitigation strategies

3. Negotiating the clauses in contracts to protect the interest of the organization or clients

4. Analyzing the applicability of any law to a situation in hand and understanding the implications of inclusion or otherwise of any clauses in the Agreement

5. Proficiency in drafting and suggesting alternate clauses.

6. Drafting of high-quality legal documentation which requires minimal modifications

7. Analyzing various legal documents and liaising and interacting with internal & external stakeholders

8. Maintaining adherence to legal compliance across functions and documents prepared

9. Maintaining various reports of the Legal Department and well-structured review presentation to the management

10. Assist on compliance matters and compliance training for the larger teams

Skills Required:

1. Non-litigation, the corporate legal experience of 2-5 years

2. LLB/LLM from Tier 1 institute

3. Advanced critical and legal reasoning skills

4. Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably on multiple projects under tight timelines in an environment that is fast-paced.

5. Exceptional oral and written communication and collaboration skills to work with a broad range of stakeholders that are involved

6. Command over the language both from a legal and a colloquial perspective

7. Excellent Written Communication

8. Quick learner, Detail Oriented and well-organized

9. Knowledge of Contract Act, Data Protection Laws, Company Law, Employment Laws, Property laws, Intellectual Property Laws, Arbitration Act and Stamp Act, Corporate governance norms, etc.
