Partnerships Manager - Banking - Internet/eCommerce
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to establish and maintain relationships with banking institutions, including banks, credit unions, and financial services providers.
- Identify and target potential banking partners, conduct market research, and evaluate partnership opportunities aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and product roadmap, and align partnership initiatives accordingly.
- Actively engage with banking partners to negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, including commercial terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and legal documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner banks, fostering trust and ensuring a positive partnership experience.
- Coordinate and lead regular meetings, business reviews, and workshops with banking partners to discuss performance metrics, strategic alignment, and growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape related to banking partnerships, and provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as product, legal, compliance, and marketing to ensure successful implementation and execution of partnership initiatives.
- Track and report on partnership performance metrics, analyze data, and present findings to the management team to inform strategic decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the fintech and banking sectors, identifying emerging trends and potential partnership opportunities.
Key Requirements:-
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (X years) in managing partnerships or business development roles within the banking or fintech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the banking industry, including banking products, services, and regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully establishing and managing partnerships with banking institutions, preferably in the fintech space.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
