SCM Manager Position: SCM Manager Location: Coimbatore Industry: Textiles Qualification: A Diploma or Degree in Engineering Experience: 8+ years extensive plant level SCM management experience with Supply Chain 4.0. Role: - A supply chain manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of getting a product or service from its point of origin to the end consumer. This includes managing the movement of raw materials, manufacturing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution. - Shipping schedules, and warehouse locations, Managing stock replenishment, establishing and maintain relationships with suppliers, Evaluating supplier performance, controlling costs across the supply chain, enforce quality standards from raw materials to finished products. Job Description: - Develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations. Monitoring inventory levels, Ensuring the right resource availability for manufacturing. Scheduling deliveries and tracking shipments. - Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and marketing, Production to plan on-time deliveries. - Administration of supply and demand, sourcing raw materials and components, warehousing and inventory tracking, order processing and management, distribution across all channels, and delivery to the final customer. Cost reduction and customer satisfaction. - Planning and forecasting: The supply chain manager is responsible for forecasting demand and planning the production and distribution schedules accordingly. - Inventory management: The supply chain manager must monitor inventory levels and ensure that the right amount of stock is available at all times in resource and Finished goods. - Supplier management: The supply chain manager manages relationships with suppliers, and logistic teams and negotiates contracts. - Logistics management: The supply chain manager is responsible for managing the transportation and distribution of goods and ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. - Cost and quality controls: The supply chain manager is responsible for managing costs associated with procurement, manufacturing, and distribution with required quality. - Risk management: The supply chain manager must identify and mitigate risks throughout the supply chain, including supply disruptions, quality issues, and security risks. - Team management: Manage and lead the team professionally.
