Manager - Quality Assurance & CTS - Glass Fibre Manufacturing

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

Quality inspection of In-process material, packing materials and finished goods.

Liasoning with product approval bodies & arranging for audits.

Ensuring continued compliance to the requirement of various product approvals & maintaining their validity.

Issuing technical clarification on issues pertaining to customer complaints.

Issuing test certificates for products.

Technical assistance in vendor development for packing material.

Development & preparation of documentation for QC function.

Development & preparation of MSDS & PDS.

Providing on job training to QC personnel.

Review and submission of monthly report for non-conforming products.

Implementation of Quality, Environment and Safety & health management systems.

Assets care, housekeeping and maintaining safe work practices in QC function.

Ensuring environmentally & occupationally safe working atmosphere.

Up gradation of specifications as and when required.

Reporting on various defects / complaints to Core Operations Team for suitable CA/PA immediately.

To demonstrate few critical tests as per relevant standards to customers as & when required.

To close all customer complaints within stipulated time frame.

To maintain all the records related to customer complaints.

Ensure ISO compliance for Quality Assurance Function.

Safe keeping of company belongings.

Ensure all the trial samples are delivered to customer & track till seeking feedback from them.

Demonstrate Integrity & strong Ethical behavior in all activities.

Highly internal as well as external Customer focused.

Interpretation of relevant standards IS / BS of glass fibre & composites

Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Certified IMS internal auditor

Qualified trainer for ISO 9001:2000

Thorough knowledge of Polymers & Glass fibre products.

Thorough knowledge of all quality parameters, their testing methods of glass fibre products & FRP products.

Knowledge of 7 SQC tools applications.

Desired Candidate :

Experience in continuous process industry / Glass fibre / Textile industry / FRP industry

Engineering Degree with Diploma in Plastic Processing from CIPET

Preferable B.E Mechanical/ Chemical or in Polymer Engineering.

Soft Skills :

Communication skills (Written & Spoken English).

Computer knowledge in MS Office environment.
