Manager Pre Sales/Sales Enablement

Our client is a California-based SaaS start-up founded in 2018. The company helps accelerate the transition to a cleaner planet by helping solar companies streamline processes and use sensing platforms like drones and analytics based on ML to enable digitalisation and automation of processes like development, construction and field O&M.

Founded by experienced industry professionals, the company currently has customers in over 15 countries with software deployed at over 400 solar sites and is backed by two leading VCs - Elevation Capital (formerly SAIF partners) and Falcon Edge Capital through the Alpha Wave Incubation Fund.

About the Opening:

Our client is looking for a driven and dynamic pre-sales manager/sales enablement manager to support their growth. As a pre-sales manager, your main responsibility will be to ensure that sales agents are well-resourced with the content, training, and knowledge of available assets to actively work and close deals in the sales pipeline. You will be essentially responsible for deploying programs and initiatives that enable customer-facing teams to execute the core aspects of their jobs more effectively, especially as it relates to selling and revenue performance.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on the massive problem of digitalization of energy and infrastructure assets in an early-stage company where the sky's the limit.

Our client believes that this will be a highly impactful and visible role, integral to the company's growth. You will be working closely with the founders in this role.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Analyze markets before product launch.

- Create sales pitches for the sales team.

- Formulating and leading presales technical/functional support activity to prospective clients.

- Develop and pitch proposals for large and complex sales opportunities in conjunction with sales leaders.

- Assist sales teams in qualifying customer prospects.

- Provide Product Knowledge Support to the Sales Team.

- Train new sales joinees on product knowledge and sales pitches.

- Participate In Strategy Meetings With Marketing Team to translate messaging into sales presentations.

- Oversee the development of sales collateral.

Skills and requirements

- Experience of 3-6 years in a similar role (i.e. Pre-sales in a tech/SaaS company, preferably in a high growth start-up) preferred OR

- 2-4 years of experience in Top tier management consulting firm

- Strong Excel/Power BI analytical skills

- Excellent presentation creation skills

- Project management skills

- Top tier educational background

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Exceptional collaboration skills as demonstrated by effectively working in teams

- Engineering/Computer science undergraduate degree required.

- Self-motivated to learn about products, technology, and customers
