Head of Sales - Internet/ Ecommerce
Job Description :
- Planning ; Closely working with Head of Global Sales to define the overall revenue growth strategy for categories via product, pricing, exam expansion, online and Offline channels.
- Execution ; Converting long term strategy into Annual & Quarterly action plans at category level
- Responsible for delivering AOP targets ; Topline, bottom line & market share
- Sales Strategy ; Develop & implement creative and well defined sales strategies to increase market share and market penetration
- Enriching Product offerings & driving category specific marketing projects
- Category Growth ; User Growth, Retention, Onboarding Strategy, Success stories, Content Marketing initiatives
- Market & Competitor Analysis ; Getting deeper understanding of online/offline markets, students actual requirements, perception and scale.
People Leadership :
- Build, groom and retain the Direct Report sales and inside sale team.
- Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals
- Establish Sales Objectives by forecasting monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales plans
- Be a culture ambassador for the team
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Growth, Operations and Content) to ensure quick business turnarounds
What You'll Need :
- MBA / BTECH with 7+ years of experience preferably in setting up hyper growth teams
- Experience in building/managing B2C products and have handled multi crores sales targets annually
- Proficient at analysing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
- Self-motivated, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable to business growth fluctuations
