Job Description:-
- Setup the processes and flow for design team to enable best-in-class design outputs
- Dual combination of subject matter expert and team leader in Fashion forecast study, Concept development, Range development and product development
- Manage a team of Junior and Senior designers across geographies
- Liaison between different teams in the organization - sales, category and design team for efficient working
- Attend brand meetings, understand their requirements and feedback and help the design team include the same in their offerings
- Remain ahead of curve w.r.t fashion trends in US/ UK markets
- Research gaps in client product lines to help category and business teams in upsell and cross sell opportunities.
Who is this for?
- 10+ years of experience in apparel design industry
- Ability to manage the design function and lead diverse team of designers
- Should have worked with global brands across North America and Europe regions
- Problem solver and a first principle thinker
- Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate design decisions
- In-depth knowledge of garment technology
- Superior knowledge of fashion design principles and pattern making garment construction, remain up-to-date with fashion trends across the globe
- Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
- Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools
