Finance Controller - Internet Startup

Job Responsibilities :

- Monitor financial health of the company with respect to budget, forecasting, working capital management.

- Present regular fiscal reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement to the board.

- Experience in Project Finance.

- Leading external and Internal Audit and ensuring timely closures

- Setting up of processes to improve operational efficiency & clearing bottlenecks to reduce timelines.

- Partnering effectively with management and divisional heads & assisting them with their financial and business planning. This could include identifying and evaluating business models financially.

- Overseeing short-term & long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with strategic plan.

- Collaborating effectively with multitude of external and internal stakeholders and promote a culture where people look forward to contributing towards perpetual improvement of finance operations and decision making.

Essential Skills :

- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

- 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

- Advanced degree in Accounting

- CA preferred

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with creating financial statements

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
