Deputy Manager HR - Manufacturing Company
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Recruiting: Plan and coordinate the multi-step recruitment and selection process
- Training and Development: Work with the leadership to develop and implement training processes and plans that drive operational excellence and functional/technical competence.
- Employee Relations: Advocate for employees through workforce relationships. Advise and coach managers on the resolution of employee inquiries and issues
- Affirmative Action: Develop and assemble all information and analysis
- Benefits: Assist in resolving issues for employees, Understand and interpret benefit policies and procedures. Provide assistance and interpretation of guidelines/policies as it relates to approved leaves of absence, parental leave and vacation/holidays
- Employee Programs: Coordinate and manage employee programs
- HR Data Integrity: Maintain HRIS data and audit-ready HR records, including candidate and master job files, leave files, medical files, training files, etc
- Compensation: Support compensation processes including payroll, the quarterly bonus plan and annual wage surveys
- Workplace Initiatives: Support and lead a variety of projects and workplace initiatives
Qualifications:
- MBA (Human Resources, Labour Relations or related field)
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience (Generalist, Staffing, Compensation, Employment Law, Training, Employee Relations, (HRIS)
