Consultant - After Market Sales - Automotive - Top Management Consulting Firm - Contractual
Project Title - Revenue acceleration/Business build project in the automobile after-market spare segment (both B2B and B2C)
Short description of the project:
- Our client is working with a leading automotive group based out of South India, on a disruptive revenue growth project. The workstreams are centered around the acceleration of the sale of auto components of leading brands in India to large fleet owners, network of retailers, Company-owned or franchisee network of workshops across 2W, 4W, and CV segments.
Project deliverables:
- An Advisory role on the workstream assigned within the Clients project and to the client assigned
- Program managing the workstream on behalf of Consulting firm and client
- Provide coaching and problem-solving help to key client and their team
- Jointly design and drive business plan for the assigned workstream
- Use industry knowledge to help establish connections with business stakeholders for clients
- Work along with client team to establish proof of concept across new business ideas
- Duration of the project: 6 months
Location of the project: Chennai (Tamil Nadu) with occasional need-based travel to Delhi.
- Capacity required days/week: Full time
Language: Mandatorily English, with a high preference for Tamil.
Skills required:
- 7 to 15 years of sales & marketing and/or Business development experience across Leading automotive companies (preferably in the aftermarket spare and service segment)
- Leading, coaching, and developing people
- Expertise in internal/external meetings & conferences
- Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment
Key Skills: Excellent relationship management skills, Interpersonal and Communication skills, Good planner, and Effective team player
- Go-Getter attitude, open for mobility, working out of India
- Excel-based analysis and comfort with making presentations
- Service experience in Automotive OEMs or Ancillary businesses would be a plus
- Educational Qualification: Graduate degree with Automotive background or any other Graduate, preferably with an MBA degree from Tier 1/2/3 institute.

Companies consultant/industry expert should have worked for :
- Auto companies in the CV segment
- Or Auto companies in PV segment
- Or large Auto ancillary companies
Position Consultant should have worked in :
- As Regional/Zonal head of sale & Marketing with channel management experience
- Or held a Key central PMO role ; Designing and driving business initiative with a front team
- Or has prior experience as management consulting in full/freelance capacity with any leading consulting companies in India.
