Key responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Head of Group Regulatory Reporting and Group Treasury Balance Sheet Management in GFS, this individual will handle a team of 35+ individuals, with key responsibilities including:
- Managing the ANZ and Asia regulatory reporting obligations including:
- Managing delivery of statistical regulatory compliance obligations in ANZ and Asia region
- Managing delivery of funded balance sheet to investors, analysts and rating agencies
- Managing ongoing regulatory change projects, internal change projects and efficiency/ automation projects impacting Group Regulatory Reporting and Group Treasury Balance Sheet Management teams
- Provide management oversight to the ANZ and Asia Regulatory Reporting team including review of service delivery outputs, quality of service and optimum resources utilisation (productivity)
- Engage with people - to ensure highest retention levels through performance management, learning & development and career paths. Ensure all critical roles have succession plans in place
- Effective engagement with stakeholders in various geographies; managing the relationship at leadership levels, and providing timely/accurate operational updates and issue resolution
- Close interaction with Financial Control, Legal Entity Controllers, Risk Management Group, Information Technology Group and Project Management office to service regulatory reporting requirements
- Involvement in-migration of any additional financial responsibilities which includes developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation for all finance functions managed by the team
- Actively support all the strategic initiatives of GFS / wider Gurgaon office functional teams
- Understanding operational risks and ensuring controls meet internal risks policies
- Application and documentation of internal tax policies and procedures
- Manage change management (including communicating changes, facilitate training)
