Advisor - Tyres Manufacturing Process - Big4 Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Expertise needed : Manufacturing | Tire Industry | Process Expert | Quality Function | R&D

Skills Needed :

1. Expertise in the end-to-end value chain on the tire manufacturing process

2. Deep understanding on Process (includes process parameters, input material composition, CTQ parameters, Root causes of quality issues) particularly in mixing and extrusion processes

3. Expert in PFMEA Development for the tire manufacturing process

4. Prior experience of process optimization through various tools & techniques e.g. Design of Experiments and Six Sigma methodology

5. Understanding the relationship between influencing parameters & desired output conditions and RoI estimations

6. Experience in process automation of tire manufacturing processes will be an added advantage

Level of expertise / Certifications desired:-

- Certification related to six sigma, DoE, Optimization techniques

Examples of Problem statements

1. Improving the Final quality of Tires

2. Reducing the scrap cost in the process (Mixer, Extruder, Calender)

3. Identify optimum levels for process parameters

4. Analyze process data to come up with golden batch process levels

5. Implement automatation techniques to monitor input material and process parameters
