Vice President of Business Development - ESG

Zycus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead the growth and expansion of our ESG product, Lythouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business development initiatives, building strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue targets in the ESG technology space. This role requires a deep understanding of the ESG landscape, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving positive change through sustainable business practices.

Our innovative solutions help businesses measure, manage, and report their ESG performance, driving positive environmental and social impact alongside financial growth.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive adoption and revenue growth for Zycus's ESG product, Lythouse. Identify key market opportunities, target industries, and strategic partnerships to maximize market penetration and impact.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and customer needs in the ESG technology space. Utilize market insights to inform product development, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

- Partnership Development: Build and nurture strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including sustainability consultants, ESG data providers, industry associations, and technology partners. Collaborate with partners to co-create value-added solutions and expand market reach.

- Sales Enablement: Provide leadership and support to the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for Lythouse. Develop sales collateral, pitch materials, and pricing strategies to effectively communicate the value proposition of the product to prospective customers.

- Customer Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their ESG priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Collaborate with the product management and customer success teams to incorporate customer feedback into product enhancements and service offerings.

- Thought Leadership: Represent Zycus as a thought leader in the ESG space by participating in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements. Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and other thought leadership content to showcase Zycus's expertise and insights.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives. Coordinate internal resources effectively to deliver value to customers and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Master's in Business Administration from Premium B - schools.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with a focus on ESG, sustainability, or related fields.

- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

- Deep understanding of the ESG landscape, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving positive change through sustainable business practices.

- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
