Title: Demand Planning Manager Location: Ahmedabad Reports to: National Trade Marketing Manager Direct Reports: None Key Stakeholders: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Pre-requisite : - Essential Qualification: MBA ( Preferred Premium B school) Years of Experience: 5 to 10 yrs Preferred Age Group: 25 to 35 years - Demonstrate strong analytical skills - Strong IT/systems use, with good Excel Skills - Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of the business affecting the forecast process - Experience in Demand and Supply Planning in Reputed Organisation Key Responsibilities : - Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts - Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing the inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs - Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results - Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers - Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process
