PURPOSE :

This position is responsible for managing Sales HR responsibilities supported by a team of professionals, advising and influencing the business functions on Sales HR related matters. Key activities include manpower planning, budgeting and tracking, performance management, talent management, employee engagement, driving and spearheading HR policies and develop competencies in the Sales HR team.

REPORTING :

This position reports to Sales HR with dotted reporting to Head HR

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY :

- Manpower planning, budgeting and tracking

- Talent Acquisition

- Induction, the orientation of sales team

- Performance Management and Development

- Compensation & Benefits Bench-marking and Management

- Training - increased focus on building people capability

- Talent assessment, Identification of Skill gaps, develop and implement development interventions;

- Measure effectiveness and efficiency of direct and indirect sales team

- Benchmark and establish best practices for Career Progression and Development of Sales Team

- Employee Engagement - develop and design ways to increase employee engagement

- Regular Update on sharing HR best practices in the industry with specific reference to sales team

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS :

Education : MBA / PGDM in HR from reputed B-school

Experience: 10 years of relevant experience. Preferably from FMCG, Consumer durable, etc

Essential Skills - good people management, networking ability
