Lead - Business Development - AFME (Africa Middle East) Region Scope of the Role: The incumbent would be responsible for Developing Zydus' business in AFME Region Key Responsibilities - Set the vision & formulate short/medium/long range business plans for the given market (product ideation, appointing partners, bridging portfolio gaps, operational capability building, market trends, competitor activities etc.) - Recommend products for development that have high scope in the market and in case of limitations of in-house production, source these products from outside vendors - Understand and complete all technical, regulatory and administrative formalities of respective countries - Facilitate registrations/inspections of in-house as well as third parties- manufacturing facilities form where products are intended to be sourced - Tender Business - Competitive intelligence to keep track of successful bidders and pricing in the previous tenders to ensure successful bidding and reasonable profitability on orders secured - Ensure safety of payment by doing through credit check of the tendering agencies and following up for collections as per agreed payment terms - Liaise with internal functional departments viz Product Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Finance, Costing, Supply Chain etc. for conducting smooth business in the territory - Develop close relationships with KOLs, Key Trade Customers, Govt. Authorities, Regulatory Agencies and enhance corporate and brand image for Zydus. Our Requirements: Qualification: MBA from reputed institute Experience: Person having exposure in Business Development in reputed Indian MNCs for 8 to 12 Years in similar role. Previous experience in P&L management and working in AFME region will be added advantage Ready to be based in Ahmedabad and travel extensively across AFME markets
