Zycus - Social Media Specialist

Zycus is looking for a seasoned Social Media Specialist who would be responsible for developing and implementing transformational social media marketing strategies. The Social Media Specialist would be responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, etc.

If you believe you are highly creative and motivated have extensive marketing knowledge and comprehension of social media trends and possess great communication and organizational skills this is the job for you.

Zycus has been a power house of clutter breaking content. Zycus also a steady stream of industry defining product and innovation pipeline. As a social media specialist, you will work on externalizing this content, create compelling posts and pages to engage, educate and enthral our various stakeholders.

Beyond managing the day to day social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter Google+, etc.), running a weekly, monthly social media calendar, you will:

Develop new concepts :

- Great content is only half the job done. Engagement requires the content to be presented creatively, with impactful and relevant graphics, contests and activities etc.

- You need to have good experience in creating content and copy for online mediums including blogs, websites, infographics, online videos, competitions, and social media campaigns.

- Impeccable language, grammar and attention to detail is a must.

- Designing top-notch visual content: because pictures speak a 1000 words

- Test graphics on different devices, platforms etc : Experiment, experiment, experiment. Keep abreast with what is the latest trend, and how to adopt it.

- Analytics: Measure what is relevant, find what can be improved, improvise

Requirements :

- Experience in tech marketing is preferred.

- Tier 1/ 2 MBA

- Hands on experience with social platforms, and social media tools (scheduling, listening, analytics etc)

- Experience in working with design team to create graphics & content, while also use tools like Canva to build content / posts on your own

- Competence in dealing with technical subject matter.

- Excellent communication and proofreading skills.

- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects, often requiring rapid turnaround.

- Comfort working in a global environment with different cultures and work styles.
