ZS- India Capability and Expertise Centers house more than 60% of ZS people across two locations based in Pune and Gurgaon. Our teams work in conjunction with onshore colleagues to deliver our sales and marketing projects to our clients. The Centers primarily support client projects based in North America, Europe and East Asia in the areas of Business Analysis, Business Operations and Business Technology.

Business Technology Group focuses on strategizing, designing and building marketing and sales technology solutions to improve commercial effectiveness. The types of solutions include enterprise information management, reporting, analytics, CRM/SFA and business process automation enablement. We provide a complete spectrum of business technology solutions, from strategy and roadmap definition to full implementation and on-going operations. Our team possesses deep expertise in leading analytic, business intelligence, CRM and system integration technologies, which we apply in a pragmatic fashion to create and deliver optimal architecture and implementation solutions.

Job Description

Solution Delivery Track and Your Role

The Solution Delivery team is a part of the Business Technology Capability Group. It implements technology based solutions in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, information management, reporting and mobility. In addition, this team configures ZS- proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the delivery of the technical solution leading the design and development phases and collaborating with other teams for business requirements and system testing. Solution Delivery Manager play a crucial role on project teams.

The person in this role will be a senior data architect with extensive data modeling experience who will lead the designing, implementing, testing, and deploying of data management environments (data warehouses, data marts, etc.) to meet business process requirements using Oracle, Informatica and other technologies as appropriate. Experience with building high quality Business Intelligence solution is a big plus.

The candidate is also expected to:

- Manage the Data warehouse Life Cycle for large scale sales and marketing data warehouses and reporting data marts.

- Lead the delivery process across 3-4 client engagements helping to deliver world-class business and technology solutions.

- Provide leadership in data analysis and logical/physical modeling and design.

- Use best practices to design the datawarehouse (star schema), test plans, ETL, reports.

- Guide the project teams in implementing the design.

- Set standards for operations, programming and security.

- Guide project teams in applying business rules and systems design.

- Develop and maintain data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards and data dictionary metadata standards.

In addition, this person will help lead a firm-wide initiative in improving ZS- IT capability for clients

- Contribute to ZS IT capability building knowledge creation.

- Coach, mentor, and conduct training programs in data modeling, data warehousing, and other IT topics.

- Play active role in developing and growing the practice.

Qualifications:

10-13 years hands on IT consulting work experience primarily focused on architecting and designing ETL and reporting modules, developing and deploying large scale data marts, data warehouses and reporting solutions.

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university is required.

Required Skills:

- Experience in design and implementation of reporting solutions using Qlik sense, Microstrategy.

- Hands-on experience of managing medium to large scale BI/DW engagements, with exposure to Agile methodology.

- Exposure to big data and cloud technologies including Spark, NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL.

- Exposure to object oriented programming and implementation on HTML5, iOS and Java Middle ware applications.

- Experience with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.

- Significant experience working with a range of data warehousing tools in different operating environments.

- Experience with and knowledge of database programming concepts including PL-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.

- Knowledge of current data modeling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends.

- Significant experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form.

- Assist/be involved in the selling process by writing proposals and giving product demos.

- Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.

- Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
