About the ZS Associates, India Capability and Expertise Centers - ZS has over 1,600+people across two Capability and Expertise Centers based in Pune and Gurgaon. Globally over 60% of ZS's people are based in the Capability and Expertise Centers - Our teams within the Centers work in conjunction with onshore colleagues to deliver all types of sales and marketing projects to our clients. The Centers primarily support projects for clients based in North America, Europe and Asia in the areas of Business Analytics, Business Operations and Business Technology.

Business Technology Group Overview :

ZS Associates' Business Technology Group focuses on strategizing, designing and building marketing and sales technology solutions to improve commercial effectiveness. The types of solutions include enterprise information management, reporting, analytics, CRM/SFA and business process automation enablement. We provide a complete spectrum of business technology solutions, from strategy and roadmap definition to full implementation and on-going operations. Our team possesses deep expertise in leading analytic, business intelligence, CRM and system integration technologies, which we apply in a pragmatic fashion to create and deliver optimal architecture and implementation solutions.

Job Description :

The position will Apply technology advancements, concepts, solutions/tools to a business context and/or environment and create conceptual model for its use to solve a specific business or technology problem.

- Lead system study and design strategy roadmap

- Lead feasibility analysis, select the technologies that provide the best solution and identify the products available that will best fit the solution proposed

- Design the solution taking advantage of the existing assets maintaining a balance between architecture requirements and specific client needs

- Can create prototypes, conduct proofs of concepts, evaluate options with pros and cons and provide recommendations

- Lead selling process including design and solution approaches for the proposals and giving product demos

- Skills to build consensus on solution. Ability to work with other senior architects and managers to influence decisions

- Assess the business situation by engaging with varied levels and profile of stakeholders

- Researching and Evangelizing on the use of the BI platform for strategic decision-making

- Identify the new market trends in the BI industry and lead the effort to develop ZS POV in the upcoming technologies

- Participate in cross-functional technical discussions with local and remote groups to brainstorm and finalize technology solutions

- Ability to articulate leading business issues and trends, including the associated technology implications within one or more industries

- Understanding and experience with IT economics - including popular financial measure such as CFROI, TCO etc

- Should able to present the architecture to client and able to put his point across in a client meeting

- Travel to other continents (as needed) to work with client and provide technology expertise to other ZS teams

In addition, this person will help lead a firm-wide initiative in improving ZS- IT capability for clients

- Contribute to ZS IT capability building knowledge creation.

- Play active role in developing and growing the practice.

Qualifications :

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university is mandatory

- 7-10 years of hands on IT services or consulting work experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy building assignments

- Have architected and designed 2-3 end to end BI solutions across multiple technology and platforms

- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT strategy or IT management role

- Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, leveraging information and technology

- Experience with IT organization design and management principles/techniques (ITIL, ITSM) as well as IT management tools(e.g. Mercury, PlanView, ProSight, Niku)

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form

- Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.

- Prior experience in sales and marketing domain would be a plus

- Keep up to date with technology trends of the platform and related complementary and supplementary technologies, processes and tools
