The types of solutions include enterprise information management, reporting, analytics, CRM/SFA and business process automation enablement. Job details - The Solution Delivery team is a part of the Business Technology Capability Group. It implements technology based solutions in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, information management, reporting and mobility. In addition, this team configures ZS- proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the delivery of the technical solution leading the design and development phases and collaborating with other teams for business requirements and system testing. Solution Delivery Consultant plays a crucial role on project teams.

The person in this role will be one of the leads in technical development around clinical. The person also will be involved in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying of business intelligence solutions to meet sales and marketing business process requirements using Informatica, Business Objects and Oracle. Prior experience of working with Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences clients will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the Datawarehouse Life Cycle for large scale sales and marketing data warehouses and reporting data marts for clinical projects

- Design/create and test Clinical Databases including forms, folders, matrices, data dictionaries, unit dictionaries, edit checks, derivations, custom functions, standard and custom reports

- Database design specification in consultation with Clinical Data Management, Lab Data Management, Clinical Programming and CTMS systems

- Development, Maintenance, and compliance of database builds and EDC standards in support of clinical studies

- Drive data architecture decisions on data, analytic and reporting initiatives for R&D

- Understand the CDISC model used in Clinical Domain and map the functional requirements to the technical solutions

- Apply CDISC Knowledge (SDTM, ODM, ADaM, BRIDG) standards to dataset programming (dataset creation and/or validation)

- Perform quality control of SDTMs and ADaMs to ensure submission requirements are met

- Manage the day to day delivery process across 1-2 client engagements helping to deliver world-class business and technology solutions

- Provide leadership in logical/physical data modeling and solution design

- Use best practices to design the datawarehouse (star schema), test plans, ETL, reports

- Guide project teams in implementing solution design

- Lead a team of 10-15 comprising of associates and associate consultants

- Set standards for application performance, operations, programming and security

- Guide project teams in applying business rules and systems design

- Develop and maintain data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards and data dictionary metadata standards

In addition, this person will help lead a firm-wide initiative in improving ZS- IT capability for clients:

- Contribute to ZS IT capability building knowledge creation

- Coach, mentor, and conduct training programs in CDISC standards, data modeling, data warehousing, and other IT topics

- Play active role in developing and growing the practice

Qualifications:

- Prior experience of working with Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences clients will be preferred

- Excellent knowledge of CDISC SDTM Implementation Guidelines, ADaM Implementation Guidelines, regulatory requirements

- Knowledge of USFDA (21 CFR Part 11) guidelines

- 8+ years of hands on IT consulting work experience primarily focused on designing ETL and reporting modules, developing and deploying large scale data marts, data warehouses and reporting solutions

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university is preferred

- Significant design and implementation experience in Informatica, Business Objects and Oracle in clinical

- Experience with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process

- Experience in architectural design, dimensional modeling (Star schema), ETL and data migration

- Significant experience with performance tuning and optimization of applications

- Experience with Clinical Operational Warehouse Design

- Knowledge of current data modeling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends

- Significant experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications

- Knowledge of Clinical Systems - EDC, CTMS, IVRS,

- Knowledge of RTM, BioStat (submissions) is a good Plus

Additional Skills:

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form.

- Help with the selling process including writing proposals and giving product demos.

- Hands-on Project Management skills with timely identification and assessment of potential risks and effective mitigation.

- Strong business acumen and client management.

- Significant coaching and supervisory skills

- Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.

- Prior experience in sales and marketing and SAS would be a plus.
