Roles and Responsibilities: - Plans or directs the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stakeholder views of the organization's agenda and accomplishments. - Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities - Research, write and distribute content to PR agency for further distribution - Collate and analyze media coverage. - Write and edit in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports. - Prepare and supervise the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes. - Organize events (such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours), source speakers and seek out sponsorship opportunities. - Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event. - Commission market research Prerequisites : - Degree in hospitality, public relations, management, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in project management with a track record of successful end to end project closures. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure - Analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Creative, out-of-the-box thinking. - Ability to lead a large team and delegate tasks effectively. - Meticulous attention to detail. - Expert time management skills. - Financial savvy, with the ability to adhere to plan budgets and process invoices. - Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print) - Background in researching, writing and editing publications - Strong communication ability (oral and written)
