Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, possess excellent communication skills, and have a creative mindset. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement from a B2B and a B2C lens.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to align with marketing objectives.
- Identify the target audience and create content that resonates with them.
Organic Campaign Execution & Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and achieve marketing goals.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content.
Community Management:
- Foster and grow an online community by engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages
- Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and address customer inquiries or concerns.
Paid Campaign Execution & Management:
- Create and optimize paid campaigns on multiple platforms.
- Set up and manage PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns, including bid management and budget allocation.
- Monitor and adjust campaign performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate budget effectively to maximize ROI.
- Monitor spending and adjust bids to achieve cost per acquisition (CPA) goals.
Platform Management:
- Manage and optimize social media accounts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others.
- Stay up-to-date with platform algorithms, features, and best practices.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends, track campaign success, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as PR, Product Marketing, and customer service, to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience with paid social advertising.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in social media management tools and analytics.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5 to 8 years of experience
Additional Skills (preferred):
- Graphic design and multimedia skills.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
