Zopper - Information Architect - UX

The Information Architect will be part of the UX team and report directly to the Head of Design. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall UX strategy, products and solutions are customer-centric and in sync with the overall customer journey and the ecosystem with a strong focus on user goals and results that make things simple.

Tactical deliverables will include information architecture deliverables for mobile and other device solutions, defining key categories and products in the eCommerce space, ensuring all work is in line with the overall architecture.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, development teams and business stakeholders to give key insights during development and implementation.

You will also communicate regularly with partners and stakeholders to understand the ecosystem and define categories and flow that will drive the user experience.

The Information Architect will also have to handle a growing portfolio of categories, products and services and will have to continuously improve the architecture so that our customers find things easily and understand how things are arranged. As such, it will expected that all work is grounded in solid user research and is continuously improved with proactive customer feedback.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Very good understanding of user experience strategy, information architecture and design

- Leading UX discovery, customer journey and contribute to product requirements definition phases with product management on complex projects

- Previous experience of making complex problems simple for the customers and users

- Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills at different levels in an organization

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on understanding and defining problems

- Ability to produce site/interaction maps, process flows, annotated wireframes, functional specifications

- Create, analyze and document design processes, give insights and identify opportunities for improvement

- Good ability to work with teams in an Agile iterative manner while being independently able to drive progress with little oversight and complete ownership

- Conduct research independently- user, journey mapping, card sorting, competitive, etc.

Desired :

- 3+ years of related design experience

- Design degree (e.g. human-computer interaction, product design) or other related field from premier institutes like IIT, NID etc. or equivalent work experience

- Consumer focused internet & mobile experience with complex systems is plus

- Fast and Interactive Prototyping is a plus

- Ability to write detailed and clear documents and specifications

- Excellent communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to present and influence design decisions

- Plus if you have prior experience in eCommerce industry or logistics, supply chain, delivery focussed organizations in a similar role
