Zoop - University Alliance Manager

The University partnerships team is responsible to verify student identities from universities across the country. This requires us to build strong and long-lasting relationships with universities thus making them our partners.

As part of the team, you will build and manage a portfolio of universities, working closely with them to build trusting relationships proactively, and help Zoop.One leverage such partnerships to achieve business goals. Your work will demand that you can interface with a range of stakeholders from senior-level leadership to database admins. Central to your work is the ability to demonstrate Zoop.one's culture and values to the institution while shaping the partnership and drives long-term engagement.

Responsibilities:

- Source the credentials to validate identities of students, negotiate business and service terms associated with partner relationships

- Influence and inspire partners by engaging with university stakeholders at all levels including: administrators and leadership team

- Work with cross-functional teams at Zoop.One to efficiently deliver for vendor partners by acting as the primary contact for Universities, coordinating and inspiring teams to deliver success

- Drive adoption of strategic initiatives by developing campus-wide strategies, identify campus ambassadors who can contribute to Zoop.One business verticals

- Work on ad hoc projects to make partnership successful, which can include planning events, improving systems, ensuring exceptional collaboration among internal teams, etc.

- Travel in India may be required

Ideal candidate will posses:

- Bachelor's Degree or Masters (preferably) in Business

- Fluency in Business English and Hindi (Fluency in other regional languages will be an added advantage.

- 5+ years of experience in establishing business relationships with Universities, managing complex situations and personalities

- Demonstrated ability to grow a business by leading cross-functional stakeholders to create value

- Strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute high-leverage action plans

- Incredible perseverance and drive manifested in a strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done
