Role Title: Zonal Sales Manager - Traditional Trade (Areas handled - Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.)
Reporting to: National Sales Manager
Direct Reports - ASM
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area
- Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
- Develop and manage an efficient distribution network to improve sales performance
- Responsible for new Business Development, forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective actions
- Growing Business at Existing Retail Stores, building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
- Ability to identify new distributors and build and maintain relations with existing distributors.
- Managing Training & Providing overall guidance to the Sales Team
- Setting Reasonable Sales Targets to be achieved by the Sales Team
- Collecting Customer Feedback and giving timely updates to Senior Management
- Provide timely feedback to the sales personnel regarding their sales performance
- Responsible for expanding and building the team
- Develop a performance improvement plan for the sales team to meet performance goals.
- MIS handling.
Foods like - Jam, Ketchup, Sauces, Mayonnaise
Qualification:
- Graduate/ Post Graduate in any stream
- MBA, with specialization in Marketing/ Finance preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, with at least 3 years in the same geography
- Experience in handling Traditional Trade/ General Trade
