- Develop and ensure implementation of sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the region within budgeted costs
- Deliver sales volume, product mix, and gross / net margins by keeping track of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor's activities.
- Assist the RMM / GM in choosing right pricing, rebate strategy to make maximum impact in the market
- Drive sales operational requirements & reporting; following up on results versus targets.
- Work closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the company's products.
- Monitor sales development for On and Off premise channels, coach the team to maintain focus on both the channels
- Coordinate with F&A team for timely finalization of cost cards
- Responsible for timely renewals of labels / licenses and new brand registrations
- Manage backend supply chains to ensure timely delivery of products within permit validity
- Ensure state teams are constantly educated in code of conduct, local laws, product portfolio, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contract
- Actively undertake account management and development of existing customer base
- Drive sales development initiatives like Visibility programs, Distribution expansion and efficiency building programs. In addition, help the immediate manager in designing / recommending market development initiatives basis competitor activities and market intelligence.
- Ensure receivables are within agreed company norms, Credit Control is implemented while planning sales for the month and beyond.
- Drive sales automation programs and data analysis using latest IT tools for superior results
- Manage performance evaluation and appraisals for sales representatives.
- Develop behavioral and disciplinary standards for employees.
- Develop safe, positive and achievement-oriented working environment
