Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Zonal Sales Manager to oversee and lead the sales operations in the Bangalore region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in channel sales, B2B sales, and proven expertise in team management. This role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to drive sales growth within the assigned zone.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed the zonal sales targets.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.

Channel Sales Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and retailers.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop channel-specific promotions and campaigns.

- Ensure effective distribution and availability of products within the assigned zone.

B2B Sales:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the B2B segment.

- Foster relationships with key clients and corporate accounts to drive business development.

- Negotiate and close deals to meet revenue objectives.

Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.

- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market trends.

- Implement corrective actions to address sales performance issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

- Proven experience in channel sales, B2B sales, and team management.

- Strong understanding of the sales process and excellent negotiation skills.

- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Result-oriented and capable of driving a high-performance culture.

Location:

The position is based in Bangalore and requires frequent travel within the assigned zone.
