Zonal Nutrition Manager - Sales - FMCG

Looking for a suitable candidate for Zonal Nutrition Manager position for a leading FMCG company to be based in Mumbai.

Experience Needed (Professional): 10 plus years of experience in sales with at least 2-3 years- experience in second line.(pharma/nutrition companies)

Role and Responsibilities :

The Zonal Nutrition Manager is responsible for the sales performance for the assigned zone in India. He/she assists the Sales Head in delivering the overall zonal objectives; supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies- policies and strategies.

1. To achieve volume and value objectives monthly, quarterly and yearly of the assigned zone through efficient control of distributor network under charge as per company guidelines

2. Recruit, motivate, train and lead the team of Area Managers and Nutritional Advisors

3. Closely monitor, influence and report on the actions of the sales team in order to ensure implementation of strategy

4. To create the business plan/strategy for the assigned zone

5. To ensure accurate Sales forecasting - SKU wise for the region based on sound analysis and support the supply chain team for correct planning.

6. Ensure hygiene factors- appropriate technology access, smooth claim processes for the distributors with active help from the team

7. Develop and coach the team to take on higher responsibilities; identifying training needs and potential

8. Conduct regular reviews with the team and assist the team in strategizing and achieving the targets set for the individuals, regions and zone

9. Track competition activities. Ensure proper and immediate information sharing / feedback for appropriate and timely action.
