Areas of Responsibility Description of responsibility:
Sales Volume Growth :
1. Contribute to the creation of sales targets for the region
2. Ensure delivery of sales target by self & team
3. Drive Volume growth
4. Strengthen Sales Infrastructure (DPL, Cluster Distribution etc)
5. Drive retail distribution & BTL activities
6. Primary & secondary Volume (Existing) - 65Cr (PA), (expected) - 80 cr.
Drive Market Visibility:
1.. Execute marketing plan for visiblity & promotion
2. increase penetration & visiblity across region
3. Tap the new markets & increase product visiblity
Distributor Management :
1. Identify perspective distributors, generate business from existing & hereby achieve sales target
2. Drive the entire process of distributor selection based on sales strategy
3. Distributors profitability & ROI
4. Manage Trade Activities
5. Regular interactions with distributors
6. Explain company products & policies to the distributors
7. No of distributers to be handled - (Existing ) - 392, (expected) - 400+
MIS :
1. Follow all reporting standards & protocols
2. Ensure timely reporting (Daily, Montly) & Day one formats etc
Rebate Program :
1. Execution of Rebate Programs
2. Conduct meetings for communicating & cascading of Rebate Programs & review it on the monthly basis
Leadership & People Management :
1. Providing On the Job (OTJ) Training to his reportees along with the ZSDM
2. Create a growth path for this team within the organization & keep them motivated
3. Monitor performance of team members & guide them to improve their deliveries
Challenges for the role :
1. Dynamic and Volatile market with high market share of Company
2. Very strong in Product <10MRP segment. Huge opportunity in @10 and >10MRP segments.
3. Stationery yet to scratch the surface in these categories, market size in these categories are big.
4. The business contribution to wholesale is 70%, so need to have strong experience of handling this WS channel.
5. Team attrition is high, person needs to be a peoples man. And he should have ability to handle large teams. Person should be able to handle multitasking, should be a quick learner and should have entrepreneur mindset who can think of multiplying the business and not just maintaining/ growing by single digit.
6. Strong planning and Execution skills required.
