Zonal Manager - Marketing and Sales (North & West Zones)
Areas Of Operation
Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa (Western part of India)
Location: Mumbai
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Plan & implement Marketing and sales plans to meet the company's sales & coverage targets.
- Lead the team of sales professionals in the Zone
- Expand coverage and market penetration to grow the company
- Set up systems for obtaining feedback from customers
- Maintain good relationships with key customers
- Monitor business metrics in regard to revenues, profitability, market share and product portfolio mix.
- Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing and Branding program effectiveness.
- Develop and manage the sales, marketing, and Branding budget.
- Develop sub ordinates for superior performance and personal development
- Periodic feed back to the company on critical parameters
Expected Areas of Competence:
- Experience in overseeing the formulation of sales/marketing strategies and tactical execution
- Ability to lead a team, influence others, and through strong organizational skills handle increasing levels of responsibilities
- Effective communicator with logical, organized and tactical verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
- Strong execution skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to create clear action plans
- A demonstrated record of accomplishments in developing successful marketing/sales programs and new product introductions.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple project and priorities
- Good physical fitness and open travel extensively
Work Experience Requirements:
- 10 to 15 years sales & marketing and sales experience of which 5 years in a leadership position
- Should have a monthly turnover of 40-50 Lakhs.
- Should have experience of handling a team of 4-5 ASMS.
- Proven record in Leadership Skill and Sales Force management
- Proven track record of new product launch and sales success
- Exposure to marketing in B to B segment
- Proven success and track record as an individual contributor and manager who has grown top line.
- Exposure to Pharma marketing in Mumbai is essential.
Education Requirements:
UG Any UG/B Tech/BE
PG : MBA/PGDM - Marketing
