Zonal Manager - Agency Channel - Life/Health Insurance

Fintech company based in Bangalore.

Role Description :

- Act as business leader to set up, expand and lead the agency channel for the zone to sell multiple financial products

- Plan and develop strategies for agency development along with increasing the distribution network in a cost-effective manner

- Lead partner acquisition across the region and drive sales across categories. Develop

- Own business targets and P&L numbers across the funnel and products, with a key focus on achieving monthly, quarterly targets while keeping agent and customer and experience paramount

- Own channel partner engagement & networking to gain market feedback and grow the relationship to enhance business growth.

- Interact and develop long-term relationships with all external/internal constituents of agency partners at all levels for maximum retention and achievement of revenues

- Regularly monitor channel performance, conduct regular team meeting & performance review programs to take necessary corrective measures

Attributes we are looking for :

- 8+ years of total experience, preferably from Insurance/Banking agency channel.

- Minimum 3 years of Insurance experience is mandatory - Non-motor, preferably health/life

- Experience in setting up / running and leading regional sales of insurance products from agency channel will be preferred

- Prior experience of working with LIC agent network will be a plus

- Ability to work with senior leadership and management teams across business units

- Ability to get down and dirty on the ground to speak to customers and agents to figure out actual problems and fix them

- Recognizes the need to adapt to change & implement appropriate solutions.

- Be able to identify opportunities and influence change to increase effectiveness and success

- Must be able to effectively deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization

- Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast paced, team environment

- Regional language proficiency of the zone is compulsory

- Basic proficiency in MS Excel is compulsory
