Zonal HR Manager (west) – Leading MNC Life Insurance
Work Location : Ahmedabad
CTC : 9 Lkhs to 11 Lkhs
West includes Gujarat/Maharashtra/CG/Goa/Madhya Pradesh
- Ensure the quality of Business HR Delivery on the zone
- Control the Business HR activity in the zone with MIS / Check Lists
- Providing input to Head - Business HR regarding the quality / quantity of delivery in respective zones with MIS
- Rolling out all the new HR initiatives in the zone
- Handle induction of Senior employees
- Presenting HR agenda in all the major business meets
- Handling escalation matters
- If there are aberration in delivery in certain areas / states, need to address the same so that delivery shall not fail
- Take feedback about State HR Managers from the customers, giving feedback back to them and ensure that the team is developed to handle future role
- Proper liaison with all authorities / campus / consultants in the zone and ensure that employer brand is build
- Ensure that State HR Manager position and deputee support to them shall not remain vacant.
- Feedback to Corporate HR (through Head – Business HR) regarding the policy / process related to HR so that modification if required can be taken up
- Control over the expenses in the zone incurred on HR account / those which are controlled by HR Dept. (eg: Relocation claims etc.)
- Summarise the HR activities of the zone with specific highlights on major initiatives / Highlights. The frequency of the same will be monthly – which will help to review the activity specific to their zone
- Supporting in institutionalizing strong performance culture.
- Supporting business on various HR benchmarking initiatives for enhancing employee productivity.
- Consolidate the MIS received from all State HR managers and give summary to Head – Business HR (update the same in Dash Board)
Few key points to check on the shortlisted profiles:
- Early joining - approx 15 days is desirable
- Two year full time MBA
- 10 – 12 yrs experience post MBA
- Age within 35 yrs
- Handled 1000 employees or above
- Handled multi location offices (desirable)
- Reportees – at least 4 -5 in present role
- Ready for travelling atleast 10 – 15 days a month
- Strong leadership qualities to drive people agenda , facilitate / partner with Business and groom his HR team
- IR exposure / Statutory champion (desirable)
