Job Objectives/Purpose
To spearhead the business in region and to enable the team to achieve growth and financial success (as measured by growth in Throughput premium, Commission income, Customer retention ratios & EBITDA/PBT) in a rapidly developing, changing and highly competitive environment. In this role the individual will be required to have a good knowledge of General Insurance Products, People skills, Business Strategy, Planning and Execution skills. The individual in this role will work in close coordination with the Sales Head - Corporate and other team members.
Position / Business Accountabilities
At the micro level the role involves:
- Working with team to Achieving Branch revenue Budgets.
- Continuous prospecting for maintaining consistent business growth.
- Ensuring client delight through superior services and client engagement activities
- Work with the organization in implementing business process initiatives
- Developing and maintaining systems and process for smooth functioning of branch.
- Handling sales and operations teams

- Strategic understanding of Corporate Sales and business domain, especially GI products

Education & Experience
- Corporate Sales / P& L Experience (preferably over 15-25 years) in General Insurance Domain
- Broking Company experience of 2 - 5 years in non-motor, non-captive markets
- University degree with an appropriate insurance qualification preferred
