Zonal Head - Finance & Accounts - FMCG

Responsible for :

1. Daily/monthly/yearly book keeping, monthly closing of financials in an ERP environment, preparation of MIS and reporting to West Zone Head and Corporate Office.

2. Monitoring transaction of contract bottling units and reconciliation

3. Responsible for Statutory and Tax Audits of the Zone

4. Monitoring of Receivables and stock and reporting variances.

5. Responsible for issuance of ‘C’ forms.

6. Responsible for settling of Travel Claims of field staff after ensuring that the same are have been verified as per Company norms.

7. Responsible for Vendor and Receivable management and Quarterly/Half yearly/yearly reconciliations with them.

8. Cost optimization initiatives for the Zone.

9. Ensuring compliance of all Statutory Dues in the Zone

10. Responsible for settlement and monitoring of schemes, cash discounts etc. and issue of credit notes in line with Sale Schemes & Budget.

- Hands on experience in preparation of Trial Balance/Profit & Loss Account. Should have independently handled the finalization of zone/branch accounts with statutory auditors. Basic Knowledge of Accounting Standards.

- Good knowledge and hands on experience in preparing Annual Budgets. Monthly MIS & Variance reporting to Zonal Heads and Corporate Office.

- Hands on experience and good understanding of the Sales & Marketing functions. Ability to support and monitor the business of Zonal operations with respect to collections, sales analysis and receivable.

- Exposure to working in an ERP environment.

- Working knowledge of factory accounts commercial terms and business contracts.

- Regular interface with Vendors and customers with respect to transactions and account reconciliation etc.

- Strong in systems and financial controls

- Knowledge of, Income Tax, Sales Tax and Service Tax and local laws etc.

- Ability to lead a team of staff
