Job title: Zonal Head - South

Location: South Zone Role - Hyderabad/ Chennai

BU/Function - Commercial Banking Group

Reports to: Head - F&A

Role Details

- Locations / Regions handled - South Zone, extensive experience of southern states.

- Size of business - 750 - 1000 cr

- Product Portfolio - Food & Agri Mid Corporate Segment / Universal Banking Products including Working Capital, Term Loan, Structured Trade, FX, Investment Banking.

- No. of employees handled - 4-5

- No. of reportees - 5-6

Overall Job Description:

The candidate will be required to lead a team of Relationship managers across key markets in South India and developing the corporate Food & Agri book. He/She will assist the RMs in acquiring NTBs as per bank policy and cross sell of other bank products apart from brining in aggressive growth in the portfolio and maintaining the hygiene of the book.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

- Well versed with credit for note preparing and proposing & getting the case sanctioned from risk

- Must be thorough with disbursement process ( legal / valuation, etc. ) ,

- To facilitate RMs/ SRMs acquire new clients

- To deepen share of wallet for the acquired portfolio,

- Should have the ability and past experience of putting the case in front of committee for sanction,

- Should have knowledge of the local market where he / she knows the leading Food & Agri Mid Corporate Clients,

- Ability to structure the facilities as per the client and bank's need.

- Education and Work Experience Requirements:

EDUCATION :

Essential requirement: Post Graduate

Preferred: C A / MBA

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Essential requirement: Minimum 10-12 years in Food & Agri Mid corporate banking

Preferred: 3 to 5 years work experience in handling corporate Agri customers

Specific requirements:

- Team management skills, strong networking and negotiation skills

- Knowledge of the domain & of finance (Understanding of audited financials, legal and technical issues)

- Multi-tasking with crisis management capabilities

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
