Zonal Credit Manager - Rural Risk for South India Location for a leading NBFC.

Function / Department : Rural Risk

Key Product experience :

- Two-wheelers & vehicle finance

- Unsecured PL & Business Installment Loan

- Micro-finance products

- Exposure to Tier 3 / 4 financial services markets

Perspective Key Performance Indicators :

Business and Financial Management :

- Track portfolio performance basis the loss plan

- Calibrate the capacity plan in line with the business needs

- Business forecast - Balance the business and loss forecast, help in calibrating policies to achieve management numbers

- Portfolio management activities based on collection feedback

- Identify and act upon risk arising out of credit / process activities

- Risk mitigation - Bureau/rating / agencies reports to be reviewed

- Track and react to external influence on portfolio Bureau/rating agencies

Customer Focus :

- Understand the Salaried / Self Employed market dynamics for secured & unsecured products in the tier 3, 4 5 markets

People / Team :

- Effective training and timely communication of policy & underwriting standards

- Manage and supervise direct reports with continuous engagement on portfolio performance, process controls and supervisory review

- Interaction with business and allied teams to incorporate changes

- Capable to mentor 4-5 middle layer managers towards progressive career path

Process & Quality Improvement :

- Define credit underwriting standards and processes in accordance with ROC approved guidelines

- Process adherence as measured by audit ratings, FTR score and TAT are key deliverables

- Quality as measured by delinquency, bounce rates, loss numbers, RCR and File quality scores are key deliverables

Qualifications : MBA(finance)/CA
