1. Apply and suggest improvements in credit and underwriting policies & processes, infrastructure, development and deployment of underwriting models.
2. Conduct portfolio study of the outstanding advances portfolio, Lead credit tightening initiatives to keep delinquencies under control while maintain a balanced view of business profitability across various products in the given zone.
3. Maintain and update credit risk strategy and policy by continuous analysis of business and collection trends, risk assessment & mitigation thereof.
4. Reviews credit policies with business goals while being up-to date on competition policies & practices.
5. Prepare Risk & Credit Decks on monthly basis for a specific zone.
6. Develop strong internal and external relationships
7. Responsible for ensuring sound understanding of credit policy across all relevant levels, in the team.
8. Product knowledge at market level & market segmentation, is necessary.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
"Post Graduate/MBA/CA
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Finance/Underwriting"
Preferred Skills:
- 10 or more years in underwriting for LAP, as a product, with last 5 years in supervisory roles
- Understanding/knowledge of governance practices, internal control systems & ability to monitor risk management activities/programs (and implementation).
- Extensive awareness of risk finance & risk control concepts.
