Zonal Head, Global Partnerships, MNC Solar Company Head Quatered In Chicago USA.

Company's introduced over 3 million solar lanterns to 30+ countries, including India- one of our largest markets of operation, through large scale partnerships. Our distribution partners- unique channels coupled with our products and infrastructure enable us to reach millions of off-grid consumers.

The Zonal Sales Manager will activate and drive sales through Company's expansive partner sales channels in a set of states (North/East/West/South) in India. Company channel partners-- including 14 microfinance institutions in India and rural retail networks encompassing 5,000+ sales outlets-- have hundreds of field sales personnel and micro-finance loan officers. The ZSM works closely with partners' management to lead Company's on-ground, field support team to execute activation, training and field engagement programs to accelerate performance of the partners' front line sellers.

The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience with channel sales, field sales management and client management in India. The candidate should also have a strong record of consistently exceeding sales targets and a passion for being involved with big, game-changing enterprises.

Key responsibilities :

- Lead the field support team comprising a large off-roll field sales staff to accelerate partners' on-ground performance through local activation, training and problem-solving activities

- As new channel partnerships emerge, work closely with the partner's management and Company's teams to rapidly drive activation plans and execution

- Manage relationships with senior leadership and middle management at partner organizations. Solve problems, motivate, and establish herself/himself as a trusted adviser

- Coordinate with Company's operations, training and product teams to serve partner needs

- Plan and forecast sales in tandem with the partner organizations

- Deliver on aggressive growth and revenue targets

- Mission-driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about making a significant difference in the world

- Can work independently and creatively in a fast-growing global enterprise

- Likes getting hands on and is willing to spend 10-15 days a month on the road interacting with resellers, customers and partners

- Is a natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the organization and externally

- Has exemplary business development skills necessary to gain partner trust and buy-in on prioritized objectives
